About Jessica

The child of NYC public school educators, Jessica grew up in a middle-class, union family on Long Island. She studied political science at SUNY Binghamton and went on to get her law degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.

Jessica worked as a real estate lawyer in NYC where she advised private equity funds on large scale acquisitions and sales of real property. Jessica then moved into law firm management, working in two top law firms managing attorney recruitment, legal personnel and continuing legal education.

Jessica is an advocate for under-resourced families and works to educate Westchester residents about the poverty that exists. In 2014, Jessica started 914Cares to address poverty in Westchester. 914Cares collaborates with over 160 local organizations to ensure that every family living in the County has the basic essentials they need to survive and thrive. The organization has a yearly operating budget of $2.5 million and donates over 1.5 million items per year including: clothing, diapers, period and hygiene products, baby essentials, and books.

Jessica and her husband Adam raised two kids (Molly and Zack), three dogs (Murray, Toby and Lola), and three cats (Jazzy, Sami and Cooper) in Chappaqua, New York. Jessica was the grade level coordinator for AYSO Soccer, the co-head of Molly’s elementary school theater program and Chair of the middle school PTA. Jessica sat on the Board of Random Farms Kids’ Theater and the Advisory Board of Family Service Society of Yonkers (FSSY).

Following the 2024 election, Jessica was mission driven to run for office to stand up to extremism and bring common-sense and compassion to Washington.
