About Jessica

The child of NYC public school educators, Jessica grew up in a middle-class, union family on Long Island. She studied political science at SUNY Binghamton and went on to get her law degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.

Jessica and her husband Adam raised two kids (Molly and Zack), three dogs (Murray, Toby and Lola), and three cats (Jazzy, Sami and Cooper) in Chappaqua, New York. Jessica was the grade level coordinator for AYSO Soccer, the co-head of Molly’s elementary school theater program and Chair of the local middle school PTA. Jessica sat on the Board of Random Farms Kids’ Theater and the Advisory Board of Family Service Society of Yonkers (FSSY).

A working mom, after a career in the legal arena, Jessica started 914Cares to address poverty in Westchester County. 914Cares collaborates with over 150 local organizations and educates the broader Westchester community about poverty. The organization has a yearly operating budget of $2.5 million and donates over 1.5 million items per year. Following the 2024 election, Jessica felt inspired to run for office to stand up to extremism and bring common-sense and compassion to Washington.
